1.70 Strict mode

Just been playing with 1.70 using wireframe and strict mode. Ah, retro joy! Frame rates go right up, and that look is fantastic. Anyway, couple of problems: NPC ships use fuel-injection. While I didn't mind the Constrictor doing it, as it is such an uber mission ship, there are a bunch of asps and f...

Wow, that is so nice. Wish I still had my old SGI to try to get this running on. Is it a patch to the code, or an OXP? Where do I get it from?

Am getting a problem with ejecting cargo from my Cobra. Message on screen is

ready to eject (Food, 21, 24, 19, -2, -2, 1, 1, 0).

but then nothing ejects. Also, you can't cycle through cargo. This is with 1.69.1.1

I like those planets. Reminds me of the BBC back in the day. Tried to reproduce the bug, but without success (am on Mac). Can this be a "feature"?

I did an AI using that method, and can confirm that it worked. Of course you can allways follow then through the wormhole if you're quick.

Thanks guys. Looks like I will have to develop my own custom AI for this then, will post results when I have them. This mission is top secret!

Convoy AI

I'm trying to set up a convoy of fugitives. Using linerAI.plist
and linerescortAI.plist results in mayhem, with everyone trying to kill everyone else. If I remove the bounty from each ship, they seem to gather together, but if you attack them Oolite crashes. Any ideas?

I'm guessing a Tharglet that has never shot at a Gaccop vessel is 50, but one that has been making trouble is worth more, same as with pirates.

I had a go with 1.68 beta, and it ships with the optional BBC key config. This clashes with the new yaw keys, "," and "." Suggestion - 1) either remove the BBC config from the package or 2) preferred option, ammend the bbc config so it works. This might require some code changes ...

Guess I should read this list more often. I love strict mode! But then I'm a retro grouch. How complex is the strict mode code? Could we use the momentum feature (where nothing stays still in space) outside strict mode?

Being an old-school sort, the yaw/pitch conflicts with my keyconfig.plist. Anyone else run into this?

Maybe this is just me, but does the laser sight on my Cobra appear to have moved slightly to the right with this update?
