How to upgrade to Oolite 1.86

Been away from Oolite for awhile, but recently returned to play. I have a well equipped ship in version 1.80 & would like to upgrade to 1.86. Can I just install 1.86 & it will keep my ship, credits, kills, OXPs, etc., or will I have to start over? This answer should be posted on the download...

Sounds interesting. Anyway to make this work in 1.77? Some of the OXZ's can easily be converted to OXP's. I did notice that the Requires.plst states ver. 1.77, whereas the manifest.plst states ver. 1.79

OK, tried this OXZ in Ver 1.80 and it did seem to make a difference. I probably did about 8-10 jumps and found that I could survive most of the ambushes by 6 or so pirates, without having to dump cargo or completely run away on injectors. Question about injector speed

Question for the Oolite gurus. Is the speed while using injectors a fixed speed for all ships, or is it a factor of the actual ship's speed when not on injectors? Just curious.

Interesting! I converted the CommslogMFD.OXZ to an OXP, then purchased the MFD. I understand that 1.77 doesn't support MFD's, but I am able to bring up the comm logs and scroll forward, back and clear the log, while docked. At least I can review some of the comms that occurred during the heat of bat...
