Re: Oolite for sale on ebay

If we -do- make Oolite-on-a- stick CD, then I think it should just include all of the OXPs of which their authors are happy to have included, as well as a small utility program making it easy to list all of the OXPs, open their readme's, and enable/disenable them. This would actually be value-add, a...

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working in interstellar space

Well, no, I should have written it properly to start off with. We only want trivial changes at this stage of the game so that we don't inadvertently break more stuff than we fix. I only mentioned it since this set of changes includes more than just a fix for this particular bug, and hence a thorough...

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working in interstellar space

This bug has now hopefully been fixed (r4421). I tested with several ships following the player through a series of consecutive misjumps. Along the way a few smaller wormhole-related fixes were made, the major one being that if a ship with escorts follows the player, the escorts would previously not...

Re: trunk: strange wormhole

The NPC simply ignores my passing game time. When I re-launch, it is still roughly at the same point, and only the real time has passed in its thinking interval. This seems odd, too. Or does it only happen for ships which I have in the inspector? AFAIK this has always been like this. The only real ...

Re: Oolite for sale on ebay

I might be playing the devil's advocate here, but if someone went to the trouble of packaging Oolite up and selling it nicely, it -might- be quite worthwhile. Wouldn't you like to have a nicely boxed copy of Oolite with printed manuals and whatnot? I can see that it -could- be a value-add this perso...

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working in interstellar space

By the way: is there a property of the saved wormhole which I could access in the JS-console, in order to find out when the ship is going to be re-spawned? No; wormholes don't have a JS presence at all, and the ship doesn't know anything about the wormhole it's in either. Both would need to be adde...

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working in interstellar space

Which can literally take hours. Not good for creating the impression that the ship follows you. :? I may have expressed myself poorly. What I meant is that the code works (ie, following ships -do- follow, unlike the other bug where they didn't) , but it's got this timing bug. So as kaks said, we'll...

Re: !Shed load of CASH!

The 'counter' used to store your credits is only so big. But unlike the old arcade games which you could 'clock', we don' roll your credits back around to zero when you get more but keep them fixed at the highest value which the 'counter' can store.

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working in interstellar space

Re: Wormhole bug: the code works. kinda. The problem is that the wormhole going from Witchspace to a System still uses as origin the player's original starting System. ie: S1 -> (WH:S1->S2) -> Witchspace -> (WH: S1 -> S2) -> S2 So the ship that's following the player does so, but takes the full time...

Re: How do I find the version information?

You can also look at the first few lines of Latest.log - it contains detailed version info and some compile-time options.

Re: enterPlayerWormhole not working if wormhole in save-file

Found the bug.
Saved wormholes don't have a Universal ID, neither does the Player's Wormhole, and the code uses the UIDs to ensure a wormhole isn't added multiple times.

My bad.

Re: issues in descriptions.plist

If everyone's happy about it, we can easily change 'snapshots' to 'screenshots' for linux & windows, though, thinking about it, it would probably be nicer (and consistent with the infamous AddOns directory...) if - for non-mac systems at least - it was called 'ScreenShots'! :) Come to think of ...

Re: typo in error message

While you're at it: Cancelled

And it's mixing languages.

And overall slightly improved grammar might be: Cancelled launch for a Cobra Courier SE with role scavenger, as it is too large for the docking port of the Rock Hermit.
