Re: Ringpod problem with 1.70

It seems that the racing rings in Zaonce and Lave are the culprit for an odd overpopulation to the system the rings are present. In my first jump from Lave to Zaonce i encountered at least 6 con-stores (instead of one) from Dr Nil's PutYourAdHere.oxp 2-3 leviathans and space dredgers and numerous m...

Ahh! So that is what is wrong with them! duh! The inverted colour of the flamekrait-bottom has been bugging me for years. (finding the filetype in XP can be difficult if the file has been renamed incorrectly, probably going outside win to the DOS-shell would make extensions visible on short names. ...

I stated I game from scratch in order to test ver 1.70. Is it normal that in some shipyards in galaxy one I can buy ships from Assassins oxp ? (vintage adders ect). I was under the impression that only if you finish all the missions of this oxp those ships can be unlocked. Afaik Assasins was design...

Need to get (urgh) Windows, since Parallels supports hardware acceleration of OpenGL with Windows. Don't do it! Noooooo! Seriously, I'm surprised at the 13fps on a new computer. I used to get 50 on a Celeron 2.67. Can I help? Well i´m not that surprised, the current drivers outthere has serious Iss...

btw im running a FX5200 LV128... wiht 128 mb of ram...

also have you set shaders to simple or full.. you can do that in the game options within the game

(BTW, it’s entirely possible to do Oolite dev work on a PC.) i have a tendency to get mixed up in coding in the projects i´m interrested in... however... my time scheduele dont allow for this.. Maybe it could be possible to dock with a derelict Anaconda? You could find yourself at a "trading screen" where everything's free, free, free! Quite possible. However, it would depend on your ship... for example the cobra is 130 meters wide, while the Anaconda is only 70 meters wide... i...
