OK, I destroyed all the Ramazan ships About how long did it take you to get them all? I still have 177 ships to hunt down, and it takes me so long to find them. I find one to three of them every few hours it seems. Am I doing this right? Is it supposed to be this hard to find them? Is there a trick...

Why would you bother using the computer to dock at the link base, or any other asteroid base? They don't rotate or move. I actually didn't think one could use the computers for anything but planet stations. Can you? The only reason I finally got docking computers is to cut down the time it takes me ...

Galcop vs. Transhab

So I was at a planet with a Transhab station, and I spotted a Galcop Viper coming in, near the station. Just as I had turned to see him on my foreward screen... BAM! One of the spinning arms of the station nailed him, and he was destroyed! I gotta say, that was pretty spectacular, unexpected and... ...

I have noticed that some asteroids just don't mine. I think maybe it is random. I figure some just aren't rich in the valuable minerals needed to fragment into shards. Like they are just chalky ones, and they go "poof" instead of "crack". And I think you must have just been havin...

Ah. I was looking for it at Bebege, the one that is described as being "rumored to be the home of the Link". I had seen that description before, and assumed (ass= U and me... actually, just me) that it was where the base was. I didn't even check my compass when I was at Ramaza before, wher...

Go back to Zaria and read the news, at least that's what I did. Duh. I should have thought of that. Anyway, now that I have done it, I am told the Link base coordinates are loaded into my compass.... but I don't see any icon for it. I scrolled through all the other stuff (W, N, D, C, star, planet, ...

I think they are randomly generated, but I don't know for sure. We'll have to see if Aegidian or someone else in the know will tell us.

Is this related to the deal where you are to destroy the "Ionics Funnelweb"?

I did that, and was congratulated when I got back to Ramaza, but nothing else has happened... Is something else imminent?

nice name

Check out the name of this guy I scooped up. LOL! I wonder if it is his given name, or just what people started calling him based on his drinking habits. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l314/Like_a_gopher/oolite/beerdiet.jpg That must be the opposite of Atkins, eh? I doubt one can lose much ...

And you know that indestructible "black box" thing they put in aircraft, that records all the flight data to be analysed in case of a crash? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?

(I stole that from some comedian.)

As a new player who has just had to sell his Cobra for an Adder just to get started in the game, i'm finding the going quite tough. Savor your time as a struggling beginner. While it is rough, you may look back on it with a sense of strange nostalgia when the money gets so much easier. Of course yo...

While, like has been said, it could be a tricky balance to avoid making it too hard on a new commander, I like your basic idea on this. Maybe the higher-end ships and equipment should need more maintenance than the basic, low-end stuff. Maybe when you start the game, you could have some kind of &quo...
