Dont know abou python but a lot of cmd line utils dont like spaces (as in 'My documents'). I'd try running it from elsewhere.

Galactic Map Bug

Try to search for Ra on galaxy Map 1 (Near quator). It doesn't come up as there are to many planets starting with Ra. However shouldn't it show it as it is an exact match? (Otherwise theres no way to find where Ra is).

How about someone can add a new key to the customsounds file

and then a new method to use it in scripts and AI's

playCustomSound(myNewSound))

Then we could have new equipment oxp's that comes with their own noises included!

I had four custom based mines equiped, which saved in my save file fine. I used y to cycle through to the last one and used it. Read an old post (can't find it now though) about how the destination of a galactic jump calculation differes from previous versions. This may be why you loose the trail in the constrictor hunt mission when jumping from Gal 1 to Gal 2. Could the inbulit mission add an extra clue from the planet you ...

On the trading screen pressing shift- <- will sell all of your stocked item (or in lots of 5 or 10) up to the 127 item limit. Saves me pressing <- 127 times to sell my platinum stockpile :cry:

For Pc Version As you can have custom missiles and mines (which look identical on the hud), it would be nice to get messages such as ECM hardened missile targeted (or selected when using y to cycle between missiles). I get the same error (when and only when) I use a quinnium mine (especially near a station). I tested it twice near the station and oolite got booted both times. Further out it seemed to work but when I returned to the station the station was textured with a ship texture. (Very interesting :shock: )...

I've tried a lot of workarounds to to get it to comm a message including spaces but don't ever receive any message.
