It's been quite a while since my last visit..
Wolfwood, every single link to your Elite/Oolite fiction is broken. If you can send us copies, we can post them on our wiki.

EDIT:
I started an archive with original versions I found in my backups: Lost OXP's
I've linked this to the collections section of the Guide to Unlisted OXP's. Just basically to have one central collection of all these collections!

Montana, I stumbled over Selezen's S-Ships and fixed the link.

If at some stage you decide to update Selezen's Oresrian Trader, then I'll add it (heavens willing!) to the Lore Collection (Classic Elite) meta-oxz.

Good job Cholmondely, just to make this link a bit more clear:

Original versions I added to the expansion manager, I deleted in the meanwhile. In exchange, most of my uploaded OXZ's are there, some of them as WIP for the next version. Additional, most of my published textures could be found, easy to import to Photoshop. I will try this weekend to bring some order to this dictionary again.

Regarding the Oresrian Trader, last time I checked I had 23 OXP's under construction, so this probably will take some time.

Sorry, I was a bit abrupt.
1) I want people to have one single place to look at for all of the various collections on Box and elsewhere. I've come across them in drips and drabs over the past year. Other people should not need to have to do this...
2) I'm not pressing over the Oresrian Trader. Merely if we ever end up with a version on the Expansions Manager (and you, sir, seem to be the most likely culprit!) - and I get flattened by the Clapham Omnibus - then it should be linked into the Lore Collection (Classic Elite) meta-oxz. That is all. No more, no less!

Everything is fine, this link just developed it own life over the time. :lol: Probably better I open another box account and put all originals there.

I know you are merely pointing out, not pressing, As you can see with the Fruit Bat I am always open to do something out of the schedule. However, now I got an Orion remake and a Freight-Train overhaul in the queue as well. :roll:

You are doing something. That is all that matters. The one thing I really wanted was the Snark. And you patched it up for me. It is hardly your fault that the blasted thing then marmalised me a half-dozen times until I summarily ejected it from my beloved AddOns folder...

The rest of it is "as and when". Some of your ideas really tickle my fancy (Church of the Holy Witchspace Guard, BioSphere station, etc.), but I am in no hurry...

The stuff with Hiran is really quite interesting, and I enjoy pulling his leg... and I enjoy watching the improvements cag is making to Telescope and what Tsoj & cbr are doing with HIMSN. Lave.oxp might just be moving forwards after a decade in limbo... and Phkb has some really super ideas... Stranger is hoping to port more of his World over from Roolite... Arquebus produced his super new music.oxp... ...and Murgh has returned from the outer darknesses of the Witchspace Lobster (with an AppleMac!)...

I'm really very, very lucky...

For the Collection of OXP's:

Famous Planets Liners OXP‎ (not Liners: these only run along the SpaceWays) Working Link added
Final Capital: Liner?
Mining OXP

Although I enjoy constructing starship models, I still have problems with compiling a workable oxp, and have got frustrated and lost interest. Therefore, unfortunately I am going to give it a break for a bit. When I had posted previews of what I was intending, the response seemed positive so it would be a shame to simply disappear and take these models with me. For anyone with blender, I am making available a set of models for onward use, should anyone wish to do anything with these. The 3D models are complete and the textures are mostly finished. the ones with plists in them, these have simply been borrowed from another oxp of a similar sort of craft, with the hope of modifying it to suit. No plagiarism intended.

Seems like a X-Mas gift to me, the texture for B Wing and Y wing are certainly an improvement, just need to look at the models as well. Refinery Station would require a dat file, currently only Blender available.

Final Capital is a battleship, could probably be adapted to a carrier as well. Maybe some modifications to the textures, and it could serve as an addition to GN.

Good job, is there any license included ? BTW, just for info for the community, Outrider is for a while available on the expansion manager already.

Yes: CC-etc-etc-etc #3

And Mandotech Industries is found too - the links on wiki now work. As does the wiki link for Selezen's S-Ships. Did anything happen with Renegade Pirates?

Renegade Pirates will need a remake, and my version is still split up over 3 OXP's. I need to copy them together and change the logic a bit.

Ok here's the wacky station:
https://app.box.com/s/mawcvy55bgxqbn4whbby

planetinfo.plist in the OXP replaces Lave Station with "Super Ico Station"

Again, some textures (such as dock) are just placeholders - if anyone wants to make decent ones, I'll upload the UV-maps (& .PSDs).
"Z_superico" only appears at Lave. The three sections (blue, brown & green) rotate separately.

Reminds me of the Sothis buoy.

Just to mention, Stormrider has mildly rejigged Amber Moon Chronicles/Antient Aliens.

"I have only done a little work on it and it is far from complete, indeed it may never be. I have tried to remove any scripts that were causing trouble but I am still getting some errors in the logs."

The new version is linked here: https://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Amber_Moon_Chronicles

==>> Z_superico

thx Cholmondely

i made it to main-station in my home-system ( simply edit the planetinfo.plist )
--- the "number" of my home systen i found with this: http://www.pcooper.net/oolite/OoliteInteractiveMap.html

-- 2 for Galayxy 3 (-1 - because counting begins with zero)
-- 69 for then System

Code: Select all

{
"2 69" ={
	 "station" = superico;
	};
}

and added a shiplibrary.plist

Code: Select all

// shiplibrary for Z-Superico station
(
	{
	class = "station";
	description = "Z-Superico Station";
	ship = "Z-superico-station";
	ship_data = false;
	},
	{
	class = "ship";
	description = "Station Defender ";
	ship = "Z-superico-guardian";
	ship_data = true;
	generator = "[oolite-ship-library-classified]";
	shields = "[oolite-ship-library-classified]";
	weapons = "[oolite-ship-library-classified]";
	turrets = "[oolite-ship-library-classified]";
	}
)
cheers
