Relays 6-2 in 033 failed special speed test
I agree, even if it really went down another way, the story of a moth in a relay is classic, an actual bug that gave rise to the term we use so readily today, without even considering its origins.Smivs wrote:Well, I for one am quite happy to accept the moth as the original 'bug'. I'd hate to think it gave it's life in vain - let it keep its place in History!

Even the clearest and most perfect circumstantial evidence is likely to be at
fault, after all, and therefore ought to be received with great caution. Take
the case of any pencil, sharpened by any woman; if you have witnesses, you will
find she did it with a knife; but if you take simply the aspect of the pencil,
you will say that she did it with her teeth.
