Static

Post by Spooky »

Whilst clearing out some old kit I found some partially completed ooliterature that I was working on 3 or4 years ago. Normally I just bin this stuff but this time I though I'd have a bash at finishing it and letting you poor people "enjoy" it.

So, I suppose I'm proud to present Static - http://int13h.com/downloads/static.pdf

So considerate of you, Spooky... thanks!

Nice little tale, btw... trouble is, it's now got me thinking about a first-person tale... bugger!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Heh... I'm currently halfway through a twice-abandoned and re-written wip... that's why I don't need to be thinking about another tale.
I have to admit that the first person perspective is very seductive, though... next year, maybe.

Reading Static now, one passage just made me chuckle:
There I was, slumped in a booth in Ahruman's in the north quarter of Hard Harbour, Riedquat. I swear that's the best strip joint in Galaxy One by an agricultural light year.
Does Ahruman know he owns a strip joint?

Cheers,
Drew.
Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge. 8)
Thanks to Gimi, I got an eBook in my inbox tonight (31st May 2014 - Release of Elite Reclamation)!

What happens in Riedquat stays in Riedquat. 8)
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
