has anybody seen 4 behemoths all at once in one place? this happened to me andn i was able to take some pictures... in case anyone wants to see them.

Did you change anything in the behemoth.oxp or were you just lucky?

I can't wait for Giles putting up the other models, as shown in his screenshot in the developer journal here:

I will for the next build.

The problem is that the new model behemoths aren't as brick-like as the old ones and if you fly close then the crude collision detection rears it's ugly head.

I want you to be able to fly safely into and out of folds and crevices on the surfaces of ships, this requires me getting the octree collision detection working properly for ship to ship collisions before I release the updated behemoths.

ah.
that explains why docking is sort of tricky on my Leviathan carrier. one gets the feel the deck in front has an unforgivingly high boundary of death.

these were all near a beacon after i witchspaced to some planet. all i did was change the settings to 70%. that way i could see the behemoth wihout having always to witchspace malfunction. (i also turined that to 99% anyway)

oh yeah, one more thing: how many giant ships are downloadabl?
