We are a nice friendly board, but we can be picky! - Is what I think you meant.

Or even,

We are a nice, friendly board, but we can be picky.

And while we're being nitpicky, let me just add that Java is not a country. The island of Java is part of Indonesia.
And being even more nitpicky, the country of Java is part of the State or Nation of Indonesia.
Extracts from Dictionary.com - country
the territory of a nation.
a territory distinguished by its people, culture, language, geography, etc
:)
I'm inclined to disagree on both points. First, the concept of "nation" is not so easily portable from the (relatively!) straightforward European context where it developed to the multifaceted states left over by colonialism in other parts of the world. It is clear that in Indonesia there are peoples who don't themselves think that they belong to the nation of Indonesia, but rather consider themselves nations of their own, being forced into the state of Indonesia.

Second, while Java is clearly distinguished by its geography, this distinction is better described by island than country. As far as peoples, cultures and languages are concerned, it is countries (plural), and not country. For instance, West Java and East Java are wildly different from each other.

I'd have been disappointed if you didn't  I was being facetious, as I'm sure you know. :)

It's the friendly banter that makes this forum what it is. A great place to hang out.

Cute??
I see a snack with a bonus, maybe part of a glove, can be cold in space after all.

As for nations.. Well before we ate all the dino's each extended family/tribe/clan considered its self a nation.

The only 'nitpicking' I've seen is when discussing the physics of Newtonian or not to Newtonian?

I wonder what nation a newtonian belongs to?
Are they edible?

Besides that;
I agree, this is the friendliest and most helpful board I've had the pleasure to join.

p.s. Don't let the humanoid avatar fool you. I only use that one to play golf.
