Re: Show and Tell (new ships/ ships in progress)
Hi folks, here are the first drafts of two ships I´m currently working on: http://www.triflinger.net/Oolite/natrix-001.png ... the natrix http://www.triflinger.net/Oolite/trident-mk1-model-001.png ... and the trident. This is my first attempt to build a oolite-ship and it took some time to learn the...

[UPDATED RELEASE] CB HUD Mark II
Hi folks, here comes the latest version of CB-HUD and this is how it looks like: http://www.triflinger.net/Oolite/hud3.jpg You can download the latest version here: http://www.box.net/shared/y1q8yegurud6lr5v9bd7 I made only minor changes to the previous version, most of it is just eye-candy. Re: [RELEASE] Accessories v2.0
Problem solved! :D In Line 21, Line 164 and Line 190 of shipdata.plist the semicolon after the braceright was missing. After I added the three missing semicolons with a texteditor, everything worked fine. Now I can see the all the new textures. Once again many thanks to Smivs for contributing this e...

Re: [RELEASE] Accessories v2.0
It´s not only the stations, the whole OXP does not seem to work. Seemingly there is a problem on my imac parsing the shipdata.plist. The log gives this error message: 01:15:43.573 [shipData.load.begin] -[OOShipRegistry(OODataLoader) loadShipData] (OOShipRegistry.m:260): Loading ship data. 01:15:43.5...

Re: [RELEASE] Accessories v2.0
No, have not tested the OXP on another computer. I just watched the screenshots in the gallery.
Checking the logfile sounds good. How do I do that? Where does oolite store the logfile?

Re: [RELEASE] Accessories v2.0
First of all: Wow! The new station textures look marvellous! Great job! Unfortunately the OPX does not seem to work on my imac. I copyed it into the addons-folder, restarted oolite using the SHIFT-key but all the stations appear with the oolite standard textures. I´m using the latest version of ooli...

Re: Yet another contribution to the collection of HUD´s
@Zireael: The green box indicates that the scanner targeting enhancement is installed.
@Killer Wolf: Unfortunately I also do not know how to define the colours and the justification of the text in the com- and message-gui.
Does anyone know how to accomplish that?

Re: Yet another contribution to the collection of HUD´s
Hi CommonSenseOTB, thank you for your kind comments and the testing you did on the hud. I´ve already fixed the two bugs you found and uploaded a fixed version of the OXP to box.net. I am going to experiment with the brightness of the shieldbars and maybe I have a better solution with the next versio...

Re: Yet another contribution to the collection of HUD´s
Hi folks! I have completed a new version of CB-hud. Aside from several major changes in the design of the hud I used the "equipment_required = "-command to ad some functions e.g. - "active lights" for the energy-bomb, the ECM, the escape pod and the fuel-injectors. (The "act...

Re: Yet another contribution to the collection of HUD´s
What happens while the clock is adjusted? Will the ' (adjusting)' be printed only outside the screen? there is enough room left beside the HUD, the picture I posted shows only a detail. @smivs and another_commander: Thanks for the code to change the position of the comlog and the message gui. That ...

Yet another contribution to the collection of HUD´s
Hi folks, first of all I want to say thank you very much to Aegidian and all contributors for developing Oolite an bringing back this great game to us. Playing it reminds me of the good times when I was young spending hours in front of my C64 to get that !ß+*# ship docked without crashing. Unf...

Re: What's your combat rating?
Hello to all!
In Oolite my best rating is "competent" (128). I am flying a python and I´m currently working as a trader.
The Best rating I ever had in ELITE was "dangerous"... ... more than 25 years ago on a C64.
