I don't think it was handled in any way. What it needs is an oolite.space mailbox, with link displayed on the (not logged-in) index page. Then mods/admins could monitor the mailbox for users having problems (and keep it clear of spam).

I don't think The Team included any direct contact details, and you can't view a profile unless you're logged-in.
