Great. I'll try this evening.

1. Does your OXP contain the Boa 2 Clipper or is that still a separate OXP?
2. Does it make any other OXPs redundant?
3. Is the Boa 2 Clipper only available at certain places (eg. high tech level) or can it be obtained anywhere?

This looks fantastic. Is the version with Ahruman's suggestions available?

How does this shipset work with others like Griff's and Neolite's? Any special set up required?

This game just gets better and better.

Very interesting thread. I had been wondering why couriering seemed so unprofitable. With my trusty Porcupine, I have made 100000 credits in 2 hours last evening by the tedious process of going between Ensoreus and Isinor with computers/luxury goods and furs/liquor many many times. Thank god for the...

That's cool. Can the amount it costs be customised too according to tonnage?

the workaround number 2 should address the stuttering issue you encounter.

Can you send some feedback if this is true or not?
Sorry I forgot about this - I will try to remember to do it later.

Cargo bay extension proportional to ship size

I upgraded to a Porcupine (no sniggering at the back) and I bough a large cargo bay extension. My suggestions are: 1. Make the large cargo bay extension proportional in added tonnage to the original cargo bay size. 2. Increase the cost according to tonnage added 3. For modded versions of existing sh...

It's not so much removal of speech synthesis - it's: 1. integrating it in some way with the speech that is in the sound sets - sometimes you get two voices: one from the sound set and another the speech synthesis saying the same thing. Perhaps sound sets should take precedence in this case? 2. Makin...

Ok I will try later.

1. Do sound set oxps like custom sounds negate the need for the speech synthesizer or will I miss important announcements?
2. If the answer to 1 is that the OXPs negate the need for the speech synthesizer, why not build one of them into Oolite and remove the speech synthesizer?

I spoke too soon. Another crash - I will try without Orbit first.

I was pressing pause, changing time and resuming and had done it a few times when I got the crash.

[Solved] Speech really slows things down

I have turned off the speech synthesizer because it leads to stuttering on leaving space stations (or other dockable objects). Also it can be quite annoying like the long message when you pause. Does the speech actually add anything useful or if you have a custom sound oxp, can you dispense with the...
