Re: (BETA) Station Dock Control OXP
Detection of pirate coves becomes straight forward with this addon. If the docking queue MFD doesn't show up when locked onto it from the edge of the scanner ranger range, it's a cove. Generally enough for heading away before they attack if desired. I suggest that the docking MFD is disabled for roc...

Re: Red alert auto-docking
The incoming queue seems fair though. If you requested docking previously to others coming in later on, those will have to wait. I had traders stay put and complain at the point when I was granted clearance. It's just that your ship is usually faster than the NPC's and they seem to request clearance...

Re: Fuel Collector Release 0.06
Happened. Waited forever for someone to jump into the direction, nada. Not enough fuel left even without using injectors. First time with that commander caught in witchspace. Zaonce-Lave, no chance. Really mean. Surviving required running away from the Thargoids, got military lasers but no shield up...

Re: Deep Space Dredger
They appear somewhat too frequent if bigships is installed at least. Just had 3 directly visible after a jump when looking towards the planet and another one later on. All just on the space lane witchpoint-planet. On average there is at least one on the space lances. And it never happened that there...

Scooping platinum/gold while carrying more than 499
Difficult to reproduce, but now I'm sure that there is some problem here: Be carrying more than the "free" capacity 499 of either platinum or gold, then scoop a cargo canister of that cargo type. This at least *sometimes* (perhaps always - not sure) "deletes" some of that carried...

Re: Adder start: No kidding it's hard!
Does that mean that the maximum shield strength (fully regenerated) is the same for all ships then (aside from equipment) ?

Re: Adder start: No kidding it's hard!
Does the Adder survive the impact of any missile (such as cobra 3, when running away from hit and hit from the rear, even without any upgrades) ? Got killed the way I expected to: A pirate gang with a ship with injectors, tried to ourun, didn't work, wanted to make the one with injectors flee and ou...

Re: Current & Next Ship?
It appears to have a forward AND an aft turret, range 7500 and weapon_energy 25 . My current ship, the ferdelance3G+(t) has 2 forward turrets, range 6000 / weapon_energy 12, so the Military Manta Ray has more support firepower. The turrets are at port and starboard. The one and only late model Cobr...

Re: Screenshots
Just in case you don't know... if you're and the assassins are just out of the aegis previously to the jump they will attack. Then there aren't so many of them at a time and you've got a full tank during that fight still, should you want to flee. Optionally, jump when all are dead, and/or move back ...

Re: Current & Next Ship?
Military Manta Ray, best player ship from Aquatics OXP: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Manta_Ray Small like an Adder and thus tough to hit, for NPCs even. Its turrets are incredibly helpful in disposing of the general Asp Mark II and Fer de Lance pirates & assassins. There will also be very an...

Re: Does anyone else kill the 'Mass locker?'
I never attack "clean" ships, It's not as if every clean ship is an innocent one and every offender is guilty. That's just what Galcop says. Illegal goods traders are hard to distinguish from pirates. Assassins are much worse than pirates, they mercilessly kill escape pods for money, yet ...

Re: Ships for cranking up contract reputation
Two useful suggestions. However, they look a little unbalanced. For the minor cobra, I suggest to also reduce speed ("less room for the engines due to cargo space"), as none of the other properties hurt that much. Not because it's annoying to wait until you're out of masslock range, but si...

Re: Does anyone else kill the 'Mass locker?'
There should be some penalty or reward for that. There is.. but there have to be police witnesses to the event. Sure. But most of the time the cop's don't show up when I really need them. And the legal status is cleared to quickly. For instance, there seems to be a reputation amongst bounty hunters...

Re: Does anyone else kill the 'Mass locker?'
There should be some penalty or reward for that. Such as if you are suspected responsible for innocent traders missing in action, they don't come to your aid if you cry or don't open wormwholes for you (that should really hurt). While if you've always been friendly they are more likely to open wormw...
