most probably not here is a sobering thought- supposing you could travel at half the speed of light, to get to the edge if our solar system would take a couple of years at least (the oort cloud) lets put that speed into perspective- if you attemtempted the same journey in the fastest thing in space...

Re: ..

I'm not interested in playing V1.4 Oolite myself  But I assume some people will like to be able to have a look at this archeological excavation, and I would help with that if wanted. Couldn't download it anymore - perhaps drop me a PM when and if you can send it/give me a download link. Cheer...

If you're quick enough, click the link above :D.

However, if you're too late, will have to wait when I get back to my office broadband connection ..

BTW, it's a disk image, which is for Mac OS X.

Oolite Museum

Ahruman, glad the file download went without problems and you enjoyed it. Imagine, that's what I've been puttering around with all this time! It's worth noting that shooting rocks in that version you get a small bounty credit.. with the new version, you can't  Those interested can download here...

Seriously? If you really have Oolite 1.40 , I’d quite like a copy out of archaeological interest. We don’t have binaries or source code from that far back. I believe it's 1.4x, not 1.40 exactly , but I can send you the disk image file if you like, I still have it. Will do so as soon as I get back h...

Oh, about the automatic pod eject when near destruction: No. I can understand why..... and I know I'm pushing with the following question; but how about a 50/50 pod eject on destruction? Just asking though. Will look into the key mapping thing, especially for the cargo dumping. Thanks all, v...

I think it's been mentioned somewhere on this forum I came across that Time acceleration is available on the newest versions and activated by pressing "P" and pressing Up/Down keys for accelerating or slowing down time. I cannot go into specifics, because i'm still using an old version tha...

In case you play Oolite on a Mac you can also download the Oolite keymapper (look at my signature). With this utility you can create a keyconfig.plist to your liking in more convenient way. If you are running another OS I could supply the REALbasic source code for the Keymapper. EDIT: Keymapper v1....

Suggestions for slight modification of keys for..

...cargo dumping & escape pod activation. Hi all I'm kinda new to Oolite, I had downloaded it when it was version 1.4 something but after a slow start never really got around to it until just recently. Lately, I was wondering if the key mapping could be modified for the above two keys for the re...
