For what it's worth. I visited Esusati today with 1.73.4 using Commies OXP and didn't explode. Am jealous though. While I ahve seen a bunch of Astromine Gulags, I have yet to see a single solar ZPF. I will ahve to visit the sun on Esusati again.

Some people in the US are scared of the UN, Some are scared of different ethnic groups and spread stereotypes and rumors. Can you imagine what would happen if there was a completely different race, with no day to day experience to dispel rumors? The social, political and religious ramifications of a...

I'm not a coder, but wanted to mention something I thought of from a novice perspective. I think it's not hard to design a perfect missile. One has access to all the data. You just set up the destination to always equal the target ships' position and give it enough speed and manuverability and it wi...

Getting out from between systems.

So I had a witchspace malfunction and left me head to head with Thargoids. I got rid of them, but F6 clearly showed I was in the middle of my jump with not enough energy to get anywhere. I fly around and then wait for a possible interstellar help. Neither came. What can one do to get out of that sit...

Do Galaxies get harder as you go up?

A fairly noobish question, but I haven't found a direct answer on the wiki. do the galaxies get tougher as you move from one to another. Does galaxy 2's pirates tend to have bigger lasers, more pirates in a pack? A related question, as you go up in rank, do the pirates you face tend to get tougher ?

Re: How does your Ooniverse look?

So far I have stuck around Galaxy 1, so my response may be limited to that. I have two ships. One 'honest' one, which follows rules and OXP and one 'experiemental' one, where I hack the save file and give myself tons of money so I can try out ships and equipment that I wouldn't otherwise be able to ...

Considering the number of Brits on the board, I am surprised that no one commented on the obvious.
The space station is clearly much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.....

The lone trader inhibiting your jump drive is a great temptation to many a commander.

The invention of witchspace injectors has saved countless innocent lives.

I think I shall never see a poem as lovely as Qutiri A land of ancient hills and quakes that cause the many states to shake Of felines gold, and wares untold made by those industries so bold A land of dusky yellow and red where all the folks are quite well fed. Such a land it is for me a place of won...

Advanced Compass not working

My advanced compass isn't working despite it being ok on the F5 screen. I fly into a commie system and use the \ key to 'look around', I see the bank, fuel station, astromine penal colony (bingo), then suddenly, to the lower left of the compass appears an anarchy like A symbol and the compass stops ...
