Full Shaders Problem Fedora 11 (x86-64)

Hi,

I'm having problems with the full shaders. They work in simple mode but in full I get this

Image

The build is 1.73.4 and it's actually from the RPMs marked fedora 11 on berlios.

Intel graphics of course

OK, cool, I'll have a play with the plist file (after making a backup).

Would it effect the balancing of the ships/cost? I mean, am I going to create a big availability gap by taking a bunch of ships out?

On similar lines, I just installed the RS pack and I think the concept is great.

I just wish I could `trim' the number of ships. I don' really want the frontier or starwars ships in my ooniverse, but RS has forced it upon me.

Would it be possible to add a feature to `turn off' some of the ship sets?

On the same revision as Solas, I am still suffering the same bug although it's effects have become, if anything, more extreme. I now have rocks appearing right in front of me, rotating and blowing up - Game Over. Oddly, it has taken one or two flights since I rebuilt the application for the bug to r...

The trend to be "more Frontier-like" is to be lamented, in my opinion. It might also explain why there hasn't been a hit commercial 3D space shooter since I don't know when. Why sweat it about "realistic physics" when you're hopping across the universe via wormholes? I want to p...

I'd love to know how many of you who claim Frontier was boring have no OXPs in your Oolite directory??? I loved frontier. It was a great game that sadly lacked a bit of promise. I think it expanded the Elite universe in a number of ways with more ships, missions, careers. It just didn't get it quite...

I normally use debuild binary with at least half a dozen patches applied (anybody who wants to have a look, see .sig); usually, it's from a clean tree (debuild clean), but sometimes I just rm build-stamp first. Thanks for the advice _ds_. Perhaps the installation page might be helped with this info...

I think I tracked this down to xrandr reporting unsupported resolutions for my monitor. It reports 1600x1200 as the next resolution down from my native resolution and when I switch down in Oolite, I assume X crashes as the monitor can't do 1600x1200. I have submitted a bug report about xrandr to deb...

Revision 2033 Switch Full Screen Resolution Crash

Operating system: Debian Lenny Version: Revision 2033 (although I experienced same issue in earlier version) Problem: When I try to switch the full screen resolution while playing, one of two things happen (The native resolution is 1680x1050): 1. Try to reduce the resolution and it won't let me. 2. ...

Can't compile revision 2032 in debian lenny

Hi, I just had my first go at updating my executable from the SVN trunk. So, I ran svn update and got revision 2032 then did a dpkg-buildpackage to recompile the code and I got these errors Compiling file src/Core/Entities/ShipEntity.m ... In file included from /usr/include/GNUstep/AppKit/AppKit.h:7...

Ah, I think I got this version using SVN in November. I should imagine it's changed quite a bit by now. I shall probably downgrade to 1.72. EDIT: Forget that. I just did an update and I'm now at revision 2032. GOd knows what revision it was on. I'd totally forgotten I'd SVN'd it. Is there a dedicate...

Appearing then exploding rocks in the distance (1.73)

Hi, I've just started playing a bare version 1.73 using debian lenny and I noticed something odd after my last witchspace jump. As I headed towards the station in the distance kept appearing large rocks that would rotate a bit and then blow up. It just seems weird to me that the rock should be visib...
