Has anyone attempted to see if Oolite works with 10.04? I was just wondering if the test release would work, and maybe even the nightly trunk builds. I mess about with a lot of laptops at work, and have noticed that plugging in a less powerful charger to a laptop that expects more power will cause that laptop to step down its power requirements and usually informs you when you start it up that it is doing so but to get a higher rated charger asap...

That 'Cell' book that King wrote was pretty good though..

I installed 1.71.2 today and get the same screen display as polomint. I am running a 128mb RADEON 9200 AGP graphics card and tried several different modes on the card and could not find a more up to date driver. I've uninstalled completely and removed the oolite folder too. Still no joy.
I think it'll be a case of using 1.65 on my laptop, and 1.71.2 on my pc if it works hehe. Oh well...
