Re: lost details
I wonder if your saves are stored somewhere else? If you do a file search for *oolite-save* that will tell us if they still exist.

Re: Being given two 'Hubbles' is a problem for NASA
Well, o.k. Ahruman - dishes are still in service and some are still on the board - so obsolete was, perhaps, a poor choice of word. Nevertheless a virtual disk makes all other dishes obsolete by dint of performance and hideously expensive by comparison to convention scopes. By putting them in...

Re: Being given two 'Hubbles' is a problem for NASA
Sad truth is these units are obsolete in that it is now possible to use an array of small digital scopes placed further apart somewhat like the ocular arrangements of insects. Theoretically it would be possible to cheaply create a scope with a dish many hundreds of miles across. Makes one wonder wha...

Re: Smallest Linux computer
Well, daft as it doubtless sounds I can't find the bloody link. I thought it was a twitter but I've not found it by dint of looking. The cheapest I can now find is:-
http://www.ip-adelt.de/shop/raspberry-pi-gehause.html
at <3 euros but it looks as if it should be <3p

Re: Constant Crashes
I've had various problems running Oolite on Ubuntu (which is a shame as all else seems to work relatively well) - but yesterday I loaded 'Bodhi Linux' which is an offspring of Ubuntu and the machine is behaving surprisingly well despite the rather expensive looking desktop embellishments - it is com...

Re: AI Trading Assistant OXP ver 1.9
Heh, that's a nice touch. I don't need a trading assistant as I know the prices and I just scoop, scoop, scoop it up as I mosey into a well. If I don't sell it the I can't scoop, scoop, scoop up any more. I need a cargo compactor? I've got a witchspace cargo hold but sometimes it goes on the blink a...

Re: Smallest Linux computer
It also only ticks at 55mhz  which is a bit sad compared to the stock Pi's 700. You are the first person I know of that's got one, Selezen. I read the cases are available now too for the exorbitant fee of £1! Scandalous! [Let Sarcasm=255]. I was in Maplins the other day (=Uk's Radio Shack) and...

SliTaz is fantastic but doesn't cope with multiple NIC's let alone static routes I'm off to try Mint
