Re: Smallest Linux computer
Yeah, I've been haunting it lately for some inspiration as to what to do with the blooming thing recently.
Actually, I was thinking about trying some hardware IO rather than concentrating on software. A mate at work let me borrow his FEZ Panda Arduino board and pointed me in the direction of the .NET micro framework so I can program it using languages I already know (rather than learning Python for the Pi).
I made an LED blink. Then I made it blink my name in Morse code. Not so big fruit, I know, but it's the first time since university I've passed commands out of a computer into an external bit of kit.
Hopefully it'll give me a grounding in the electronics side of the process using a familiar language then I can use that and move onto Pi(thon).

Was considering the GertBoard (old link in R Pi terms ) for this, for the same reason. Plenty of examples and there's plenty of support in the Raspberry forum.
