Well, I can shift the window to the other monitor, but Full Screen is significantly faster. (Or rather, windowed can be slow with lots of objects.)

I suppose I'll just have to switch the menu bar to the other screen before launching Oolite.

Sorry, not sure what you mean -- F7 doesn't do anything in the Finder or in Oolite (well, not with monitors, anyway.)

Assign the monitor?

Do you mean set the 2nd display to be the one with the menu bar? I could do that -- it's just that it's not how I have it setup for everything else.

Oolite with second display?

I did search for this, but couldn't find anything.

I've got an iMac with a 20" Cinema Display. Oolite in Full Screen only displays in the iMac's screen. The 2nd monitor is blank.

Anything I can do about this?

Re: Oolite Screen Shots folder on Desktop

It is actually consistent mac behaviour. When you make screen shot with Macs own "Cmd-shift-4", it also will end up on the desktop. On the mac, files should end up somewhere at the home folder (that is private to the user) and not where the programs are. I'll agree that screenshots should...

Oolite Screen Shots folder on Desktop

I've noticed that Oolite now puts a folder on my Desktop called "Oolite Screen Shots".
How can I change the location of this? (I'm a bit funny and don't like stuff on my Desktop.)

Thanks

I just downloaded the updater, and when it launched, I got a message that DropScriptUpdater needs Rosetta to run.

By the way, is it my imagination, or is everything darker in 1.74...?

Because I used to play Elite in 1984 on the BBC Micro whilst listening to Jean Michel Jarre, I often stick that on for old time's sake.
It has a suitably spacey feel.

I'm not sure why the EB became such a target of hatred, though what's done is done.

If equity with the NPCs is the great leveller - are all other things equal?
Those b'stards always seem to have more fuel, missiles and lasers than me.

Personally, I think it's a shame that it's been deleted from the game, though I am glad that the programmers had the forethought to allow it as an option. It's also good that it's retained for Strict Mode. The Energy Bomb is very much a "last resort". Perhaps it does make more sense that y...

It's not true that the pilgrims were saved by natives who offered them turkeys. The pilgrims brought turkeys with them from Norfolk on the Mayflower!
Turkeys had been introduced to Europe in the 1520s, and became very popular by the end of the century.

For Docking Clearance, you can find information on the wiki. Link is here: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Oolite_Instruction_Manual Look under Docking Clearance Protocol. It's all explained there. Up to 5000 Creds seems a bit steep, particularly if you are a Fugitive. I rather like swooping in an...

Yes, I noticed the oxp errors in the log, so will have good muck-out of my stables.

I'll upgrade to .4 and let you know how I get on. Seems funny that the equipment should be available, but not the mechanism behind it, though!

Target? I've tried pressing both T and R. Wormhole dead ahead in my sights.
Still no joy.
