GoreLeech,

You definitely want more RAM in the G3.

PS: Without wishing to prove your point, I do find your sig block in rather poor taste. And the joke does backfire with the poor grammar and spelling.

It's a great strategy. I use it on X-wings, as they are too fiddly to shoot.
But bear in mind that it will increase the frequency of maintenance overhauls - which cost!

I generally get killed by hardened missiles, which don't show up as missiles on my radar, but rather as non-hostile ships. (I think it's because an OXP.)

Otherwise, it's getting rammed, or the occasional bit of suicide....

When something big explodes, like a Pirate Cove or an Ixian Battle Cruiser, there's a slight lurch in performance.

But I have had over 800 objects in full screen mode and nary a crash.

Core 2 Duo iMac, 1GHz. OS X 10.4.8.

"Never even touched the sides." (Oooerrr, missus.)

However, taking into account Rxke's point about the POV seems to improve matters.
It's also better if you keep the strut at 3 or 9 o clock.

I find that hermits are a lot trickier to dock with than stations.

Going as straight as I can, I almost always scrape the paintwork in a Cobra III, and sometimes even lose cargo/equipment.

Re: Yeah, you're missing the point

Anyway, if you don't see the point, then it's not for you. Why naysay? I've found it useful, which is why I created it, so obviously it's useful to someone . There's always someone who's got to tell you why you're wrong... Sorry if you felt I was poo-poo-ing you. This was not intended. I didn't say...

Hmmm. not quite sure what the purpose of this is. As you point out, the trade figures change, so next time you go to a given planet, the data will be wrong. Or am I missing the point? One of the great things in the game is that you don't know what the price will be with any certainty. Running dope b...

There were definitely no ships launching from Boass nor Anacondas in the BBC version. And we didn't have Rock Hermits either. Are you sure ?.... How long you are you played BBC or c64 Elite? Pretty sure. I spent a lot of time playing BBC Elite - mostly at school in a darkened cellar. Don't ask. Got...

Re: Wishes, pleas, suggestions and demands!

Some of these ideas are fine, and have been mentioned before. However, here are the ones I wish to comment on. Hope it doesn't sound too negative.... More of the game OXP controlled to let modders make systems without planets or stars or cops or even populating systems wih custom plists and e.g. all...

Just had a spectacular crash. Had to Force Quit twice.

It's the bounty you get from escape pods that's being discussed, not the bounty you get from destroying pirates.
