I have started to work on a new shipset. I did not come very far by now, but at least the cobra is already flying with new textures. I also added a em-map and two flashers as navigation lights.
I´m trying to keep the "look and feel" of the original shipset, just adding a few more details and a em-map for some light effects. My second goal is to give every player-flyable ship a individual HUD and individual crosshairs that show up automatically when a new player-ship is bought.

I like your use of lights, looking forward to seeing more ships! Adding individual HUDs and cross-hairs will give them more flair as well, good idea doing that. What would be really great is to have individual engine sounds in addition to that. I know it is possible but haven't come across a full shipset that actually makes use of it.

That´s a good improvement suggestion, maik. I think I have read somewhere that the BGS.oxp offers a function to give every playership different sounds. I´m going to check that out.

Fan of your work so looking forward to the set. But Yes as an co-author of BGS I can say that one of the goals was to implement a way to use different engine sounds for different ships. Although at the same time I have to admit that I'm not an expert on how to implement it.
