Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Yeah, I'll get back on that as soon as I finish my current hare-brained scheme.

Sorry. My attention span sucks.

Arise, arise from the grave!

Prompted by the Realistic Shipyards discussion, I finally managed to get my ass into enough gear to finish texturing a few of the DT models on my stick. I now have another two additions to the Dream Team.

First up is the remodelled Mamba. This was a nice job, and I actually really like the look of the little guy...

I don't think it needs much in the way of detailing given that it's a small ship. Any panel lines or such just made it look cluttered.

Second is the Worm landing craft. Super weathered to make it look like it does a LOT of atmospheric work...

McLane, the Aquila is being textured. I'm finding it hard to do the texture cos I don't like the texture much - it's proving rather hard to make it look nice.

Hey, cool! 8)

Happy that our discussion has contributed to kick-starting your creativity. The new ship models look good! I`m looking forward to future releases of the Dream Team - keep up the good work!

Cheers :D

It would be nice if with the next stable release will also have a revised basic set (integrated or oxp – I do not care)
Congratulations Selezen!!

Selezen`s Dream Team models as revised basic set for the core game - excellent idea! I second that. :D

Shucks, dudes! Thanks.

However, I disagree. The core ships are the classic ships, and should not be messed with. I have no issues with making two releases of the Dream Team available, one that can be used alongside the classic ones (an OXP) and one that can replace the original ships.

Don't want to annoy the Purists, after all! (that's me that is!) 8)

Double post, so apologies.

I'm starting work on the Anaconda, but I seem to remember that someone else was working on an Anaconda too (ramon?). It had two round exhaust nozzles at the back, I remember, and had a lovely orange burnt texture. If I remember correctly, it had a detailed interior too...

My take on it currently has the same twin exhaust idea, but recessed into the body, and doesn't have the detailed interior. Is this OK? I'm happy to leave it as is and incorporate whoever's Anaconda into the Dream Team concept if that's permissible?

Don't want to pi$$ on anyone's chips.

I'd love to see what Seldar Shipyards would do with the Anaconda schematics....

I know, I know, I've been terribly slack. I've also got an Asp in development too. You go ahead and do a version of the Anaconda because it'll be a month or two yet before I get the time to start working on them again!!
