Some ships (here the ASPMK1) do look weird. I built a new Trunk version today. With simple and with Full-shaders on I get this problem. This wasn't a few versions before (also 1.73 trunk)

Are the Asp MK1 and the Strelka from the same OXP? Try removing all OXPs except the Strelka and/or the Asp Mk1, then run the game, see if it repeats and, if yes, post the log.

BTW there appear to be a few issues, i.e. one error in one of your scripts plus total lack of shaders for the Griff Boa due to shader failing to compile. You may want to investigate those too. However, if you leave out all OXPs except the Strelka/Asp1 then you automatically exclude this as a possible source of the problem.

Now it works as intended on full shaders so something else is messing up the shader system.

OK, next step: Put everthing back in EXCEPT the Griff Boa, which was reporting errors earlier. See how we are doing with that.

I really don't think the script error is related to the graphics issue, but I definitely agree with Svengali. When presenting logs for debugging, all errors except for the one(s) we are interested in should be already cleared and fixed.

Removing the Griff Boa didn't make a difference. All ships are untextured in full shader mode.

Oh man, now that the cache has been rebuilt it is obvious that there is total chaos in your OXP folder. I recommend not only adding them one by one, but also throwing out or fixing any of them that produce errors for the time being.

Found the OXP that gives the error.
I deleted every OXP and started by adding them in one by one. When adding this oxp who turned up the lights it goes wrong. Obvious because it modifies something in the shader system?

Anyway I found the error.

Yeah I know about the OXP Chaos. I renamed a lot of OXP's. This was more like an experimental playground than a sterile development environment :wink:

I think the griff boa shader error is the same as the error that turned up in this thread

it looks like i've forgotten to update the shaders with with bug fix that A_C sent me, i'll get that sorted now.
it might be worth ditching that who turned on the lights oxp, it contains a copy of the built in oolite shaders and is designed to overwrite the default ones.
edit. I've updated the griff_boa oxp with fixed shaders for Oolite's 'simple shaders' mode, same download link as before.
