Ooh! Ooh! I've got an unreasonable joystick!Wolfwood wrote:As an opposite to an unreasonable joystick, you mean?ClymAngus wrote:That's an arse, could you not just map keys to a reasonable joystick?
Works fine in M$ Flight Sim 2004 and during "calibration" but keeps getting "stuck" in roll when playing Oolite. My machine cannot cope with anything newer than 1.65 with a couple of OXPs so I can't try upgrading to the latest version, but it's only started happening recently - and I didn't change anything Oolite-wise about the time it started acting up either...
Oh, and I've tried reinstalling 1.65 as well but it didn't help... If anyone has any sensible ideas (new joystick is out at this time, unfortunately - and there's even less chance of getting a new PC* ) please let me know.

*Actually, that's not such a bad thing in many ways. Means I don't have to suffer Fista... so there is a silver lining to my (magellanic) cloud!
You really want to know what's gonna happen, Ambassador? Boom. Boom boom. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. BOOM!

You can map just about any USB joystick to mouse control and keys using third-party software such as USB Overdrive. (To enable mouse control, enter full screen mode and press Shift-M.)
