I'm sure this has been asked before and I have searched the boards

Is there any way of converting a windows save file to load into a Mac

As it is an ordinary text-file, there is no difference whatsoever between OS. Therefore no conversion needed.

I am not very up-to-date with Mac joysticks, but you may want to know that the Mac version of Oolite does not have joystick support.

Not as such, I'm afraid.

The only thing you could do is to adjust the pitch/roll/yaw-rate in your current ship's shipdata.plist.

Ooh! Ooh! I've got an unreasonable joystick!

Works fine in M$ Flight Sim 2004 and during "calibration" but keeps getting "stuck" in roll when playing Oolite. My machine cannot cope with anything newer than 1.65 with a couple of OXPs so I can't try upgrading to the latest version, but it's only started happening recently - and I didn't change anything Oolite-wise about the time it started acting up either...

Oh, and I've tried reinstalling 1.65 as well but it didn't help... If anyone has any sensible ideas (new joystick is out at this time, unfortunately - and there's even less chance of getting a new PC*

) please let me know.

You can map just about any USB joystick to mouse control and keys using third-party software such as USB Overdrive. (To enable mouse control, enter full screen mode and press Shift-M.)
