Hi,

Hi,

in the quote is the link for the German language pack for Oolite.
I downloaded that and decrypted it. Then copy the folder "GermanOolite.oxp" into directory Oolite / AddOns.
After that Oolite should start in with german lyrics ... that unfortunately does not happen.

Can someone please tell me where my mistake lies?

Hi, and welcome. I just tested that OXP and it only works partially - some stuff in German, some in English.
I'd guess it's because the OXP is quite old, and hasn't been updated to match later versions of Oolite.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Hi

Cody is right. This OXP is almost ten years old and the game has changed a lot since then. The files in the OXP simply don't match the current game anymore. There is a lot more that needs to be done nowadays in order to generate a complete translation. There is no mistake from your side, it's just that someone will have to take the time needed and work on a modern translation OXP.

Thank you for your prompt reply. So far it's going to be good to play.

Is the OXP here in the chat the latest in terms of the translation into German?

There is another, but that too is rather old, and will probably have the same problems.
