I'm didn't know original, so in order to 'sing along', I had to look it up, and found out that I am actually familiar with a Dutch cover of it ("moeilijk bescheiden te blijven") so I know the melody and rhythm/cadence for the lyrics.

To me it's just a funny song I heard as a kid (note to self: probably makes more sense to pick a serious song next time...)
