I'm playtesting in witchspace and have encountered this problem multiple times now.
It occurs sometimes when the target of an asp is lost.

ERROR: AI stack overflow for <ShipEntity Naval Asp Mark II-a 855> stack:
({currentState = NEXT_TARGET; pendingMessages = {}; stateMachine = [i]snip[/i] 
this causes a recurring NS_timer ignore:

Encountered localException during initialisation in [Universe update:] : NSLockException : Thread attempted to recursively lock
and

Code: Select all

*** NSTimer ignoring exception 'NSLockException' (reason 'Thread attempted to recursively lock') raised during posting of timer with target 0x92145d0 and selector 'pollControls:'
and eventualy a time-out crash.

Just wanted to mention this.
Has anyone else encountered this during big battles?


Oolite version 1.65, Windows. Lots of OXP's.
Possible clashing OXP's are Behemoth-v2.1 and Thargorn Threat, both affect WS.

I sent you the debugfile : stderr.

Plus alot of unwarranted info. :wink:
