Well, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Where's parts 1 & 2...?
Couple of small typos..
Pg.12: The only think I’ll ask is that if you capture the Thargoids, you bring them to us.”
Pg.14:The last time Tarklin has seen something like this, it had
been in the fevered hallucinations of his psychosis

I'm rereading it from the beginning and am impressed. Are you a lawyer?
One thing though: part 3:
Sats/stations whatever in polar orbit circle a globe.... Like spysats, they in effect span the whole world that way...
Edit:
One thing though: part 3:
That's physically impossible, an object in geosynchronous orbit (meaning it stays above the same spot ) must be equatorial.Cowell & MgRath’s main shipyard was in a Coriolis station in orbit above Lave’s northern polar icecap.

Edit:
Brilliant! (Okay, so I visit /. waaay too much...)On Xeoner, government votes for YOU
Some more 'proofreading':
friend in deed:
part 4 :
part 8 :
friend in deed:
part 4 :
versus part 8:and as a result he now had a ship bristling with a full complement of missiles, a front mounted military laser...
he already has a mil. laser...... Tarklin had equipped his ship with a Military laser...
part 8 :
Could be me, being Belgian, but is that a correct sentence? This door led connected to a manoeuvring crane that would transfer an arriving or departing ship between the docking bays and the main docking slit at the front opening of the station.

Nope. Good to know I can sound like one though...Rxke wrote:I'm rereading it from the beginning and am impressed. Are you a lawyer?
Would it be better to read that it was in position above the north pole? You're right - it's not meant to be orbiting. It's meant to be further out than the standard geosynchronous orbit...Rxke wrote:One thing though: part 3:That's physically impossible, an object in geosynchronous orbit (meaning it stays above the same spot ) must be equatorial.Cowell & MgRath’s main shipyard was in a Coriolis station in orbit above Lave’s northern polar icecap.

Thanks for the remarks, guys! Good to know I'm entertaining you...
