Oolite and heavy metal lyrics, a match made in witchspace...

Not much of an effort. Metal lyrics convert almost with ashaming ease to Oolite themes. "Piranha" could easily tell about Thargs; Merciless destroyers leave nothing alive. "Aces High" was even easier. After changing a few keywords here and there, It's almost like reading Oolite fanfic!

I do agree on many levels, but it's also the song. The songs I have the easiest time with is heavy rock, rock ballads, western ballads (like Eagles stuff). Else the song has got to have a certain sound, theme or rhythm to it that works with a combination of Oolite based words - "I fly an Anaconda, Anaconda, no Adder...". But sometimes a muse hits with a song you know that can be turned into something - "Credits for nothing and your ships for free"
