Come to think of it, haven't seen a trumble cannister in aaaages... ever since the crashbangwallup patch, i think.
Thankfully I've never come across one. Have been offered them for sale several times now. What does the trumble cannister look like? Can you avoid them while scooping other cargo?

Thanks!

There's a picture of a trumble on them, and they're cylindrical.

And yes, they definitely are much rarer, nowadays. They *do* still pop up now and then, even in the latest build... But it's indeed been aaaages since the last one, heh. (Which came as something of a surprise, I'd all but forgotten about them... So I scooped it before I realised what I was doing, luckily it wasn't a 'live' one, phew...)

Whats the best way to get to a sun in order to kill the buggers?
I've not been able to find one.

I scoop Trumble canisters routinely, but have never obtained a Trumble as a result. The only Trumbles I've seen was when I bought one. That was over 4000 kills ago.

Methinks these Trumble canisters are in need of air holes. Poor little things are invariably dead when I get them.

tomythius: you can't find a sun? :? it's the big yellowish disk, just fly straight towards it, eventually you'll get mass-locked and see your temperature rise.

Odo: you're just lucky, eventually you'll pick up a live one

about this....I was just thinking.

Can trumbles distiguish between cabin heat from a sun or atmospheric entry?
If not, I consider this a bug. It was the radiation that killed them, or the neutrinos (as they can multiply in a hold full of radioactives.),
not just cabin-heat.
Or one would get rid of them by just by fiddling with the lifesupport controlls.

(ps I want to see my custom MrKitten_trumble...where are those containers? )
