:D At the risk of being too easy:
"All You Need Is Lave"

Lave, Lave, Lave
Lave, Lave, Lave
Lave, Lave, Lave

There's nothing you can do that can't be done
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy

Nothing you can make that can't be made
No one you can save that can't be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy

All you need is Lave
All you need is Lave
All you need is Lave, Lave
Lave is all you need

...
Apart from the obvious find-and-replace, the rest of the lyrics are entirely unaltered ...

Hi Guys... er what did I miss?

Looks like an explosion from Stock, Aitken and Ooliteman! :D

@mossfoot - an instant classic for a... 'top gun'
@dismb - the best reworks are the simple ones :D

Not wishing to lag...

You’re listening to Lave's favourite sub-aether comms station "Jameson2084.004"

It’s just after 10.15 local, I’m the Milky Way Kid with you on the late shift

Whilst browsing the aether recently, one of our listeners came across a series of transmissions from the down but not out hard-core spacer, Mossfoot. Do yourself a favour, spend some time on your comm scanner and check out his diary ‘Tales of Woe’.

Up next, one of the Ooniverses favourite outfits DC/AC charging up, and on tour again promoting their new album ‘Asteroid – Space Rocks!’, after spending many decades in hypersleep. Perennial public schoolboy Angus was quoted as saying at the album’s release –

“I'm sick and tired of people saying that we put out 111 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact it’s now 112 albums that sound exactly the same.”

So turn up the volume, switch the comm to wide-band transmission, pull out the air guitar and get ready to annoy the Viper patrol that just mass-locked your iron-ass with some…

Dirty Deeds

If you're havin' trouble in a corporate state
Your status not quite clean
You wanna do some illegal trade
Without being seen
Pick up the comm, I've got my ears on
Call me any time
Just broadcast ‘P-I-R-triple 8-R-S’ (arrr)
I lead a life of crime

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap) arrr
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap)

You got problems with your Torus Drive
Mechanic says there’s a fault
But he's double dealin' with your hard earned dough
Feedin’ you a dose of salt
Pick up the comm, you know I’ll come
To make a ‘social’ call
Give me some space to alter his face
And kick him in the balls

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap) arrr
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap)
Yeahhh

[Angus (not so) Young shredded solo]

If you got some rivals and you want ‘em gone
But you ain't got the guts
They keep undercutting the reg’lar price
Enough to drive you nuts
Pick up the comm, get yourself gone
It's time to make a stand
For a fee, I'm happy to be
Your Random Hits hit-man, hey

Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap) arrr
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap)
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap) ooh
(Dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap)

Contract hits, duralium suits, sabotage
(Done dirt cheap)
Hard heads, cascade mines, mil lasers
(Done dirt cheap)

Dirty deeds… done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds… done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds… do anything you want me to
Done dirt cheap
Dirty deeds, dirty deeds, dirty deeds,
Done dirt cheap, oo-arrr

With AC/DC, Eagles, BTO, Sabbath and the rest... we're on our way to a very peculiar compilation
Standard is consistently good though :D (if I may be so bold).

Oh, I think I've got another one :D ...

A folk song from a race of small green frogs, originally sung by their greatest hero...
It's not that easy being clean
Having to spend each day avoiding the obscene
When I think it could be nicer being a pirate, or a pusher, or a smuggler
Or something much more colorful like that

It's not easy being clean
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to screw you over
'Cause you're not standing out
Like a Q-bomb in the ether
Or a sun in the sky

But clean's the status of spring
And clean can be cool and friendly-like
And clean can be big like the navy
Or important like a hero
Or innocent like a star-jelly

When clean is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
But why wonder why wonder
I am clean, and it'll do fine
It's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be

Ha Ha! I'd forgotten about Gimlet

Anyone fancy modelling a Roc-Khermit? No?... Probably for the best...

Meanwhile, given that classic rock seems to be the medium of choice around here, how about some Lizzy? ...
