Added the Volcanic texture pack to the oxz downloads.

Provided I haven't managed to botch that, I'll be adding more packs over the next week or so.

Damn, how I wish I could install these.. unfortunately, any additional planets or moons make my laptop's graphics go nuts when it tries to render them..

It didn't give a reason but did mention the latest.log, so here it is. Sorry for the length. Oh, and my V-sync thingy still hasn't been worked out from a while ago apparently

OK, I think I know what the problem might be. I either left the manifest out when I zipped it (don't think so), or it got zipped as a folder within a folder and so the manager can't find the manifest.

If either of those two things is the issue then I'll have a chance to fix it later today (/tomorrow, depending on where you are)...

I'm new to both oxz and the wiki, so the potential for me to balls things up was always going to be quite high

I've just downloaded it directly via Oolite.org, and yes, the OXZ contains a single folder with the files (including the manifest.plist) inside it, instead of only the contents of that folder.

You should be able to open the copy of the OXZ stored at that location, and examine the contents. You could try zipping up only the contents of the folder that's inside it, renaming it to oolite.oxp.spara.additional_planets_sr_demux_volcanic.oxz, and putting it into your ManagedAddons folder.

Or, just rename the zipped files to anything you like so long as the file extension is changed from .zip to .oxz, and put it in your regular AddOns folder, for now.

Damn, how I wish I could install these.. unfortunately, any additional planets or moons make my laptop's graphics go nuts when it tries to render them..

Do you know if it's the same with System Redux/Demux and Deep Horizons, or is it just with Additional Planets?

Having some trouble with that...

Meanwhile, you could (if you wish) try removing your downloaded copy from the 'Managed Add Ons' folder (assuming you downloaded from within the game menu) and then try downloading again.

This shouldn't be necessary but it seems that the new version has inherited the old download link and that might be causing an issue. The problem with the extra folder however seems to have been fixed.

Okay I don't see it there. I see sr_base, sr_demux_gas_giants, and sr_pack_redux

Checked all the spara-based ones and nothing else comes up that might be it.

It's the same with Orbits, Demux, Redux, Deep Horizons, or anything else that adds more planets or moons to a system. I've come to the conclusion it's some weird limitation of the AMD/ATI X2300 graphics chip. Imagine what you see in the above stills, but flickering extremely rapidly, whenever I turn the ship in the direction where a planet or moon is situated. It makes things almost unplayable.
