Hi,
I can't find the oxp in the list, is it still here ?
This currently appears to be the only place in the Wiki that all four of the Internationalisations are listed:

Edit: I've added it to the Main List of OXPs. Look under 'Oolite en Français'.
(Note that the link is to the old December 31, 2012 version. Poovga has not yet released the updated version.)

Greetings Commanders,

I can play in French :)
I still have a point : when starting a New Commander, the default Cobra has no forward weapon. Instead the F5-screen says "(nil)"
I probably deleted a character somewhere but I don't know where is this somewhere...
Could you tell me where I should compare English and French version?

Thanks,

If this is a new player or ships from the shipyard it could be an error in the shipyard.plist. You could also check in shipdata in case there is a problem there, but I think that is less likely.

Thanks.
In fact, it happens also with loaded commanders...

Ah, OK. Check both the shipyard and shipdata then, and also check the save file for errors.

After a lot of tries, I am running out of ideas...

Oolite (in French) fails to load the equipment.plist file

15:53:08.307 [plist.parse.failed]: Failed to parse Resources/Config/equipment.plist as a property list.
Parse failed at line 1 (char 1) - extra data after parsed string

I tried to copy the first lines from the English version.
I tried to copy the bracket from the Windows characters table
I tried to use ALT-40
I used Notepad++ and WinMerge

Any ideas?
Thanks

Its possible there is some extra (non-displayed) characters at the end of the line. Probably that .plist has been opened and saved in Notepad at some stage which has added those pesky characters to the end of the lines.

You probably need to strip them out somehow, I think Notepad++ can do it, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Well done. These things can take a while (and get frustrating) but it's worth it in the end when it all works :)

Greetings Commanders,

Testing the French version is on the way and it looks pretty good.
The planets descriptions are sounding French... most of the time -which is a good result!
I go on testing today and will soon release the new OXP :)

Thanks for your moral and technical support!

I also updated the OXP List.
Done!

And, until such time as the page is removed, I've also updated the other wiki location that links to the French version..

Thanks :)
I was happy to find the page and got it updated... But, it shows -if needed- that I'm not in computer science :)
