Hi There,
There's a simple typo in Deep Space Pirates 1.3 which I wanted to report / fix to the author (Eric Walch), but can find no way of contacting him, except to post here.
DeepSpacePirates 1.3.oxp/Config/descriptions.plist:Line 6
"You are realy lost out here. Our lasers will point you the right way.",
---
"You are really lost out here. Our lasers will point you the right way.",
Regards,
Stewart

Hello stewart,
Thanks for spotting it. My english is bad, so normally I have my spellchecker active. I don't know how I missed this one, as it was the only wordt that me spelchecker flagged on opening the file.
And when you have some more phrases to add to the descriptions, I am happy to add them.
And of cause I am happy you left the 'deep space' at the right side of Riedquat.
Eric

Eric, you should not have confessed that it was a typo. You should have claimed that it is the correct spelling pirate speech.

The Ooniverse is full of aliens; lobsters, rodents, frogs, insectoides, etc.
I'm surprised the universal translator does such a good job, as is.

Away from the ooniverse and back in the real world, German to English in Google translate is usually good for a cheap laugh.DeathKnyte wrote:The Ooniverse is full of aliens; lobsters, rodents, frogs, insectoides, etc.

I am sure most google translations give a good laugh And I am always surprised when entering a chineese website and google makes it readable. At least readable enough to make choices to browse through the site.Wildeblood wrote:back in the real world, German to English in Google translate is usually good for a cheap laugh.
A translation that made me cry was one at the touristic scene with the caves of Han in Belgium. Half of the Belgian population speeks Dutch (vlamisch), but they are not able to produce a correct spelled dutch leaflet or documentation.
