I think I reported the issue with planets being a) very dark b) very pink or c) having a pink halo a few months back. It's still there in rev 5123.
Anyone knows some planet OXPs (not Povray, I can't download 500 MBs) I could use?

System Redux is a good one for planets at 15.5MB it's a good 'buy'.Zireael wrote:I think I reported the issue with planets being a) very dark b) very pink or c) having a pink halo a few months back. It's still there in rev 5123.

Re: Planets still look weird in newest trunk
In the most recent trunk (rev 5158), I am getting the procedure-generated planet textures of Oolite instead of my System Redux ones.
Don't know if that's a known issue but report it to be sure.
Huh, that's my 3000th posting

Re: Planets still look weird in newest trunk
System Redux is working fine here (r5158) - the planets do look slightly different, mostly due to the very sharply-defined terminator, but that's trunk atm.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

System Redux was working fine for me with trunk but I went back to 1.76.1 as the terminator was too sharp for now, couldn't get used to it.El Viejo wrote:System Redux is working fine here (r5158) - the planets do look slightly different, mostly due to the very sharply-defined terminator, but that's trunk atm.

Yep, me too - I use 1.76.1 for gameplay!Fatleaf wrote:... I went back to 1.76.1 as the terminator was too sharp for now, couldn't get used to it.

So am I now. To many errors and stability issues with trunk right now. But that is to be expected, so I'm not complaining and will continue to build and test trunk.El Viejo wrote:Yep, me too - I use 1.76.1 for gameplay!Fatleaf wrote:...
