Well I'm Loving this game, got explores club oxp installed and have loads of equipment on my cobra. but what the hell does the advanced space compass do? don't know why I bought it, but all I can see that it does is change the space station from a circle to a square!!! not really worth the money unless I'm missing something,

the rest of the upgrades are fairly obvious, any one know what this does? or have I just wasted my money.

The [EliteWiki] ASC is very useful.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Can I interest sir in a used spaceship? Only one careful owner, only used it on Sundays for visiting the local Con Store. Lovely runner.

Seriously, though, it sounds like you're a man than needs a jelly baby dispenser and some Trumbles for your ship.

Hey Ebbo,

The advanced space compass is used to switch between navigation beacons, very usefull if you've installed an oxp which adds stations.

Default key is \ I believe...

By the way: The Oolite installation contains a ReadMe and a Reference Sheet. Both exist solely for the purpose of explaining how everything works. I would recommend to have a look at them.

I have printed out the Reference sheet and scoured it for info ... alas the eyes ( and possibly the brain) not being what they were, I missed it :!:

Just hope the Galcops don't pull me over to do an eye test on a passing cobra

I'll attest to that!
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.
