How comes pirates quickly get lots of these brand new ships, when the rest of us have to wait until they appear in the local shipyard? The likelihood of you actually popping into the shipyard and there being the latest-from-the-factory ship there is tiny. They got snapped up by other commanders who were in the bar when the delivery was made.
It's like wandering into the shops the day a new games console is released and expecting lots of stock and no queue.
Will that do as an explanation?
