Looks sturdy and intimidating, and the HUD is smashing! The gun might be a bit oversized in relation to the viewports, though.
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.
The gun looks like it's correctly positioned relative to the thin white central slit I presume is the cockpit, in the image above. Although for those of us who think of the viewport as an enhanced camera/sensor view and not an out-the-window view it could be a little extreme.
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams, 1952 - 2001)
You have to try the impossible to achieve the possible. (Emil Sinclair, 1877 - 1962)
I particularily like the alternate snake paint job.
I'm going to give this a good test flight. Thanx Killer Wolf. Well done and congratulations.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Cheers for the PMs
i thought i might've butchered the HUD stuff a bit when i was meddling. i'll go through the stuff you mentioned. I'm sure i got the C&M spelling from elsewhere and put it in the MkIV stuff first, so i'm going to blame someone else for that one
as for the temp guage, yeah - w/ the big gun glowing in the viewport it's a bit immaterial. if you don't have shaders, soz but that's life.
right, that's repaired, tidied and tweaked. not sure what was going on there, reversed normals show as black in my modeller but they weren't this time for some reason :-/
anyhow, cheers much for your playtesting and feedback, CommonSense, i'm indebted.
Excuse me Killer Wolf, but I think I found an typo on your website.
The MkVI is broadly comparable to the MkVI but brings a higher level of comfort and reliability to the pilot.
I think I understand what you mean, but as phrased it doesn't make sense.
Aye, cheers - CommonSense pointed that out but i didn't have time to change it last night after messing w/ the OXP itself. i'll sort it over the weekend. Was low on my priorities cos i didn't think anyone read the stuff!
KW: You have done an outstanding job. I like it. I also like the background story (yes I read them all) .And I like you're 'complete ship philosophy', Not only a ship, but a complete one with a Hud, several innovations, a new weapon etc..etc..
