The general anaesthetic experience was "interesting" - I was chatting to the anaesthetist in pre-op and woke up three hours later in recovery. Surreal. Happy though, to have not awoke on the table!

They've removed the end of a bone in my shoulder joint which had developed a "spur" which was rubbing on and damaging one of the tendons.

As I've said elsewhere - I thought I was doing OK, but the nerve block was worn off and to be honest have never been in so much pain ever...
