Offline (for a few days)

Post by DaddyHoggy »

OK guys I'm offline for a few days - going into hospital in a few hours so some key hole surgery to fix my knackered shoulder - should be in and out after a day, but I don't react well to General Anaesthetic (last time I had one I woke up on the operating table - so I enter into this - somewhat apprehensive! :? ) so they may keep me in for a day...

Anyway, even if I have to type one handed I'll be back by the weekend - I may have to wield my katana right winged for a few weeks until my left is all healed (but I've been practicing on the holodeck).

Later,

DH

The good thing about keyhole surgery is, it's harder for the surgeon to drop his watch in the hole ... I assume you're still under warranty? ;) Hope you get yourself fixed up soon, DH! We'll keep some spambots to one side for your return.

Good luck DH, we're all rooting for your speedy recovery!
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

I'm back! Although only in short bursts in between tear inducing physio and max effect of painkillers.

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated.

As ever, and if any more proof were needed, definitely the friendliest board this side of Riedquat(tm)!

Pretty much back in one piece - all bar the piece of bone the took away of course - but they're welcome to it.

Normal service will be returned over the next week or so - can't have Commander McLane get too far ahead now can I!

Isn't key-hole surgery wonderful... reduces trauma and recovery time, as I know from personal experience.
Was the general anaesthetic bearable, el cuervo?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Glad it has gone well for you. All you have to do now is the twist and shout! (The Physio twists and you shout!)
