Edited original post for the Tisoot ad. New corrected version now showing.
When is the next set for YAH coming out?
How many more ads are needed?

Re: YOUR AD HERE!!! 300 ads (sets A, B, C, D, E, F & G)
Since I messed up the Statoöl ad when I tried to make a decal for Griff's canisters, I started from scratch, putting everything into layers making it easier to go back. (One learns from ones mistakes.)
I have ended up with a new version of the Statoöl ad, so need an opinion on which one to push for YAH. (I have learned how to make neon lights in Gimp today by the way)
Old version
or new version
Now, I can start on the new decal.
Edit: Just to make it clear, the company this ad plays on actually uses those pink shades in their logo. I didn't change the colours, I promise.
Edit2: Cleaned up Cobra in second image a bit.

I like the new version... yes!

Can I have some consensus please, or I will have to push both.

Why not. DH will decide if only one is needed.

After some thought I like this one.
Find out about the early influences of Fatleaf here. Also his OXP's!

The wireframe of this Cobra has some 'pimples', I think due to the resizing. Could you remove them by hand? That would make for a more even look.Gimi wrote:

They are actually from the neon-light transformation. I'll fix that tonight. The Wire frame on the cobra is causing all sorts of pains. It's taken from an old C64 snapshot, and does not transform/scale well. Might have to do a long and tedious manual job on it.Commander McLane wrote:The wireframe of this Cobra has some 'pimples', I think due to the resizing. Could you remove them by hand? Or you could try taking a snapsot of your cobra in Oolite's 'wireframe' mode...
Or maybe using Griff's ghost ship for the purpose!

Thank you [Bows; get up and walks away all red in the face thinking about the time he has spent cleaning up that bloody Cobra.]
