<mumbles something about 'third bird on the left'>
Yeah, good one seventh... it's cool!

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: Oolite Icon Competition
It's got a bird in it - would have got my vote - if such a thing had been allowed (I think I'll go and find a four sided regular shape to protest in)

Re: Oolite Icon Competition
Not my choice for a winner, but glad to see the competition is over and MNSR is that much closer to not being M.

Not 100% sure what you meant by 'you' there: me or commander Matt?

Re: Oolite Icon Competition
Congrats, Seventh! Finessing a classic design, it's what Oolite is all about!Ahruman wrote:Seventh’s reimagining of the current icon perfectly captures the nature of Oolite “MNSR”: it is superficially the same as before, yet improved in almost every detail, more flexible, and makes use of better graphics support where available.
A variation similar to the one I posted above will be used for Oolite 1.75 and later.

Your version looks like a logo a bank might use. Not in a bad way you understand.
It looks very professional is maybe a better way to put it.
Re: Oolite Icon Competition
I see, I can assure you matt's original deserves all this praise, I just trimmed the edges a bit, after all!

My vote would definitely be for Matt's design, were I to have a vote.
