Yup, all seems well after an arduous  2 hours of testing. I put back all the other gl_TexCoord[0].st bits back in and everything looks fine. Visited some Shady Bars and saw plenty of ConStores and billboards and they all looked a whole lot better than they were before.

Great news, Palmski, and that testing is oh so arduous, ain't it.
Does it load Oolite smoothly? Mine still scrambles the display briefly, but no VPU /recover events yet, thankfully.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

I've never had a problem with loading, I'm running at the same as my desktop resolution which again is my screen's native resolution though, in the past with other games/apps if they run at a different res I've sometimes seen some oddness.

FWIW for comparison I'm running at 1680 x 1050 on Win7 x64 with an HD4890 card.

Well it's good news that they decided to fix the drivers, TBH I wasn't going to bother re-writing all the shader files for my OXP's because of a driver issue on a few cards which I don't use :P

Another weekend of 'deep immersion'... Catalyst version 10.5 seems to be the best ATI driver update so far. I’ve even managed to eliminate the ‘briefly scrambled display’ problem I had when loading Oolite… it loads smoothly now and runs sweetly.

The man from Del Monte, he say “Yes!”

it's getting like a fkn weekly update, those drivers. you'd think they'd be able to produce something a little more stable than needing all this tinikering.

My previous PC, built nine years ago, had an nVidia card. It gave me loads of trouble, which is why I switched to ATI for this machine.
All was well for three years, then I discovered Oolite and its need for OpenGL support… hey-ho!
