This is unexpected: I have got a Python ET with cargo expansion. I also have done a lot of contracts in the last few days, so I think I could take hi-value transports of gold, gem stones and platinum.
But, even if I have the cargo bay empty, I can't subscrive the contracts. Why?

For all cargo contracts you must BUY the cargo. Normally that is the local market value minus a discount.
You have "only" 11 237 credits. But you must first buy it against the "Premium" value. Than on delivery you get your Premium back plus an additional fee mentioned in "Pays".
Interesting. You only get 97 264.- on delivery. 1760 kg of platinum has an average value of 71.8 x 1760 = 126 368.- By not delivering it but selling it elsewhere in 14 small portions you probably get more but loose courier status.
ninja: I see it was already answered while I wrote my answer.
