OK ill try to be more specific.

The G Unlock the constrictor is avalible for 10 mil on a very high tech world and is very very rare. Ive been looking for it for over a week now! Hence the reason my question is in the wrong place and needs directing at the Griff unlock thread. :)

It will also bugger up the Constrictor mission (in a similar way that the RS/OSE version of it did) if it appears and gets shot. The Contractor method is safer as it doesn't have the trunk Constrictor's mission-related scripting attached to it.
[Thinking about it...] Now we have the new addShips() method, it will be fairly easy to attach a js script on-the-fly after adding the ship to the system. Maybe we should remove the script reference from shipdata completely and only attach it to the ship when selected for the mission. That would prevent any problems caused by bad copies of that ship.[/Thinking about it...]

Look at these sad, tired old decals:-

Depressing eh? Well, I was browsing through the Oolite Icon thread and the stuff getting posted in there is a lot better designed and drawn than the stuff i'm churning out, so, i thought why not exploit the Oolite hive mind's art skillz and get a whole load of cool new decals drawn for the OXP in exchange for a measly credit in the oxp's read me whilst i relax drinking pina coladas on some sun kissed Welsh beach such as exotic Rhyl or Llandudno, the St. Tropez of the UK? Sounds like a cool plan no?

If anyone wants to submit a decal, i'm looking for greyscale images, black areas in the design will appear fully transparent when the decal is drawn on the ship, shades of grey work as various levels of transparency and white is fully opaqe.
For quite a bit of variety i think about 16 'Pirate' designs, 16 'Trader' designs and 16 other designs that will go on bounty hunters & hermits

the current ones are 128 x 128 pixels, they'll all be the placed next to each other in a long strip 16 decals wide, which will bring the final image size for the decal texture to 128 x 2048 pixels, i'm sure 2048 is a maximum texture size on some graphics cards so it's best not to go bigger than 128 x 128 per decal.
decals that fit into a 128 x 128 pixel square will work best, i think fairly bold designs too, fiddly thin lines might not look that great

My fellow Judges and I eagerly await your submissions!

How big is the port compared to the rest of the 'roid. It looks as if it takes up 1/2 of the entire asteroid surface.
