Which is why I still have the original System Redux installed.

If I switch to SR2, I will probably remove the gas giant textures altogether (I hope that will work), because I don't want them as main planets, and I don't want extra planets at all.

For some reason, SR1 doesn't work on my computer since 1.74. It was fine under 1.73.4.:

No texture with SR1 on 1.74 (first version, still happens with 1.74.1):

Done this, but not sure it is working. Here's what Tionisla in G1 looks like with the change (nb: the HUD is the dynamic MilHUD, which was recently updated).

Curious… unlike you, I’ve had no problems running SR with 1.74.1 (apart from the odd exception, which I’ve posted before).
After your post, I tried out CaptKev’s fix and Oolite reverted to it’s own planets, and this appeared in the log:

And guys - You have the texture being specified inside parenthesis. It's not a function. It doesn't go in them...

Have downloaded this, but its not really changing anything. (nb I did use shift on loading!). This is Tionisla again, with the same detail settings (detailed planets off, reduced detail off). Tried with detailed planets on but no changes.
